The new project sponsored and coordinated by the Civitas Solis, "For a shared leadership. The structured dialogue as a tool for youth empowerment Calabrese, is co-financed by the European Commission and dall’Agenzia Nazionale per i giovani nell’ambito della misura 5.1 relativa agli “Incontri dei giovani con i responsabili delle politiche per la gioventù”.
Partner attivi del progetto sono l’Assessorato alle Politiche giovanili della Provincia di Reggio Calabria,l’Assessorato alle Politiche giovanili della città di Locri,le consulte comunali giovanili di Antonimia,Gerace e Sant’Ilario dello Jonio.
Il progetto è partito a fine gennaio con un primo incontro nel quale si è costituita la cabina di pilotaggio, formata da Carla Sorgiovanni e Yancy Chaves della Civitas Solis dal presidente della consulta giovanile di Antonimina, Gabriele Pelle, dall’ass. to youth policy of the town of Gerace, Rudi Lizzi and deputy mayor of the town of Locri, John Calabrese.

During the launch conference is attended by representatives of local youth councils and Antonimina Gerace, the coordinator of the activity, Carla Sorgiovanni the ass. The provincial youth policy, Attilio Tucci, the mayor of St. Hilary, Pasquale Brizzi, the ass. to youth policy of the town of Gerace, Rudi Lizzi and the mayor of Locri, Francisco Macri.
The interventions of the representatives of local youth councils has shown that young people consider dialogue an essential tool for the formation of a leadership and suffer from a lack of dialogue between them and institutions.
