Poltergeist Pavia shooting a article I wrote for the Cicap about a strange event occurred in the Pavia beginning of January.
Pavia. During the Christmas holidays a council house in Sicily avenue seems to have turned into a hellish place. At least that's what we learn from the account given by the newspaper La Provincia Pavese , that the January 8, 2011 devotes an entire page [1] from December 27 in the house no longer sleep because the sudden succession of small fires that forced the occupants to continue patrols and shifts of exhausting vigil.
The case, however, similar to those that occurred in 2004 in Sicily in the town of Canneto di Caronia, is extremely interesting, at least from what is told by the newspaper bunting. The situation of the family, consisting of a middle-aged woman and two children, seems to be unsolvable and without explanation. Fires have been developed for several days and several times a day even before the experts came to make sure the events. In fact that house you are interested Firefighters with assistance from the core of NBC Milano, ARPA, police science, some experts at the University of Pavia, and even the church.
The Harp, the fire brigade and the police have collected tissue samples from burned and carried out environmental measures, but everything is normal. Two priests, convened by the same owner, have blessed the premises and invited the people to prayer. As it has done for
Caronia, in this case, the hypothesis "colorful" origin fires are not lacking:
According to the parish priest of Santa Maria delle Grazie "Something is wrong with that house, but I do not know what. I think it is important that they put themselves in God's Grace, they come back to church to pray, to break free from negative situations. "
Franco Maloberti, professor of the Department of Electronics, believes that "If it is there must be a source of electromagnetic waves, perhaps a transmitter or high voltage cables. Similar position is expressed by Giuseppe Conciauro, a retired professor of the Faculty of Engineering: "There should be something of intense - includes La Provincia Pavese - can not happen with objects placed in different rooms. There should be something extremely powerful and I think the towers are to be excluded. You could see if there are any amateur or new installation. " None
evidently wondered how this "something powerful" set fire to the clothes in the closets and the occupants of the house, or whether this case could act on non-metallic objects. Or, if similar cases have ever been observed or are known to experts of electricity or electromagnetism.
the afternoon of 8 January, however, also involved the Cicap, through the mediation of a journalist de La Provincia Pavese.
Scopriamo così che i presenti hanno assistito a tutti gli incendi, indeed they can to not ever let anyone alone for fear that the irreparable happens. All the fires that developed in the house concerned highly flammable material (clothes in cupboards, or a phone book), but fortunately have always been discovered in time by the smell of burning and did not lead to serious consequences. These appear to be fairly tried by the patrol shifts that have forced some ten days, but the only time the house is left unattended for a couple of hours fortunately no fire occurred.
interview the lady we also discover that in fact none of them have never seen a fire grow from nothing, you are always noticed the phenomenon because of the intense burning smell came into the room of origin and have always observed a flame already developed.
There are shown the plastic bags full of clothing scorched and still wet the water used to extinguish the flames. These T-shirts, socks, jackets and even blankets (all synthetic fibers, it seems). We also observe the cabinet doors charred at some of these fires. Burns are quite deep but localized, from twenty to forty centimeters wide.
also obtained a copy of a list of these small fires, drawn up by the family. From December 27, the events were repeated several times a day.
La nostra intenzione, in accordo con la proprietaria di casa, è quindi quella di tornare il pomeriggio Next divide and control the different rooms so as to leave never empty, even installing cameras that can cover most of the house. That way if a fire had generated spontaneously we could document it, in addition the child with his partner would be granted a relaxing afternoon by the constant surveillance and were not at home.
The next morning - a Sunday - La Provincia Pavese title "The mystery remains for the Cicap. But seems a little 'exaggeration to speak of mystery when no anomalous fact occurred in our presence so you can see how arise. In addition, for the same reason, it was still more risky to propose an explanation. Also in the morning
Garlaschelli receives a telephone call from the lady who, in part because of outcry from the media - not least an attempt to interview with a television crew to Open Studio - decided to close the matter and do more allow anyone, including Cicap. It then erased the only option for me to observe and Garlaschelli this alleged generation of spontaneous fires. The owner of the house, however, states that any fire is no longer the case. [2]
On 14 January, not having had any news, we called the lady, who confirmed that there was no fire più generato dopo il nostro ingresso nella casa.
The technical term in English is RSPK (recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis ) and always seems to be related to the presence of a particular person rather than a place. In the latter case, the infestation will be of parapsychologists.
The interpretation given by those who believe in the reality of paranormal phenomena is that these cases are just manifestations of the psychic energies of the people involved (often teenagers with psychological problems) [3]. Skeptics are wont to find out more mundane causes such as vibrations that move objects [4-5], practical jokes or direct human intervention [6-7], noise caused by animali, tubazioni, contrazioni termiche, eccetera.
