2nd workshop

Greater participation in the second project workshop, held in Antonimina Saturday, May 15. More than 40 boys and girls came together and share their ideas. To open the meeting, the project manager Carla Sorgiovanni (Civitas Solis), who after all welcomed ii young people present, presented the results of previous workshops and the next steps of the project. There have been many ideas put forward by the children, which were later collected into four topics: Education, Youth Centres , access to the Internet, enhancing structures. Each topic was discussed in a working group, which made the proposals. It now opens a phase of discussion, open to all, before arriving at the provincial and regional seminars, in which our proposals will be discussed with the institutions.

1) Call for regional WORK EXPERIENCE (internship) presso aziende e organizzazioni non profit rivolto a 5000 giovani calabresi (compenso di euro 600 al mese per 12 mesi). Proposta da finanziare con il POR Calabria FSE (investimento complessivo di 36 milioni di euro).

Obiettivo: formazione, e facilitazione accesso al mondo del lavoro, per i giovani calabresi

2) Miglioramento delle opportunità di reale «orientamento al lavoro» in Calabria. Nuovi centri di orientamento e punti informagiovani dotati di personale altamente specializzato

3) Varo di un programma specifico di finanziamento di iniziative promosse dai giovani artisti locali (teatro, cinema, musica, etc)

6) Create one-stop shops for skilled youth entrepreneurship

7) financial support program for the purchase of computers to young people at a disadvantage financially.

Objective: To support the access of disadvantaged young people

8) Regional Programme for the coverage of broadband network in inland centers

Objective: To contrast with the depopulation of inland centers

9) Construction of a series of innovative youth centers, with adjoining library and cultural area, managed by organizations who have specific skills and experience

Objective: To improve social skills and cultural and entertainment area

10) Launch of training courses for young people in non-traditional agriculture and tourism

Objective: improvement of key competencies in young people.
